On my way home from work and went through the drive thru. There was a few cars ahead of me but went quite fast.
Everything is made to order which is a huge plus. I would wait extra for fresh food.
Got the Texas bacon burger. It has BBQ sauce, onion rings, and bacon along with the regular burger attire. It was great. The fry sauce is very good here as well.
They have junior sized meals that fill even this big guy up for a few dollars less
Definitely would recommend this place to everyone. -

Everyone is so opinionated about their favorite burger joint (shredded v. piece of lettuce, fries must be THIS crispy or else, etc.) but this Apollo Burger is our new go-to takeout burger joint. We love their chicken sandwiches (crispy and grilled - both are good), Apollo burgers (burger with pastrami and traditional toppings - onion, lettuce, tomato) and their thick-cut fries, even if they aren't perfectly crispy like everyone complains. They are hot, fresh, and cooked well - plus, they give you a ton. The children's Apollo burger is practically the same size as the regular one - very generous portions.
Everything is straight burger joint - regular buns, sliced onions, fresh piece of lettuce, lackluster but fresh-cut tomatoes (not mushy like McDonald's sometimes serves), basic American cheese - but for some reason that's really nostalgic and friendly and we like that they don't pull any punches with too many options. When you get takeout they include sealed cups of fry sauce and little mints and pack it in a box which I weirdly really love.
A bit shabby and dated decor so not super appealing to eat there (though we do always see the staple old guys inside eating their burgers alone so it's not totally deserted.)
Service is not super fast (i.e. skip the drive-thru) but they make everything fresh-to-order and you can watch them make it right behind the counter while you wait. They are happy to explain the menu (which doesn't have descriptions) and always very friendly. It seems family-run and it's convenient and reliable - everything a local burger joint should be. -

(at this location) They mistreat their employees and give them bad referrals even when they put in their two weeks notice. I will not support this location.

So SLOW.... if you are going to eat here planning on staying awhile. Yes it's made to order, which is great, but it shouldn't take 25 minutes for a cheeseburger combo. I'm seating here at my table going on 25 minutes and still haven't received my food. It's lunch time so naturally it's kind of busy but 25 min!?!?

Sat in drive thru for 10 min with one car in front of me. All I ordered was gyro and fries. Girl at window said nothing to me at all. Ran my card and gave me my food. I didn't have to wait long for it. However, I got about a block away and discovered my order was wrong. Went back inside and told them it was wrong. All seven employees just looked at me like a deer on headlights. Then one asked if I still wanted my order. I was over it at this point. Not the first time my order got screwed up. I just got my money back. Won't be going back to this location.
